Just read this article on our (EZY) intranet. Apparently, the source is Adfero Ltd (?). Anybody have more information?
Saint Exupery Airport in Lyon, France, has been evacuated following a bomb alert.
All flights were suspended following a "bomb threat signal", according to Europa Press, a Spanish news agency.
At around 08:00 local time (07:00 GMT) the police in Lyon received an anonymous phone call regarding a bomb in the building of the airport.
All staff and passengers were evacuated and flights have been suspended until further notice.
In September this year the airport reported a 6.1 per cent increase in passenger numbers, the largest growth of any airport in France.
Over the first nine months of 2005 it handled a total of 5,094,064 passengers, a 5.7 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
