Rumors are flying, some thru realiable sources that NW plans to outsource 67% of their current rampers and CSA's. Those that wish to stay at their airport, or at least some, will be offered opportunities to work for a new ground service, non union, company similiair to ATS, Menzies, etc and NW will start up, called Ground. Co.
That name is so Minnesotan it's riduculous, boring and stale, anyone have suggestions for another name, maybe you or whomever can send it to Steenland.
What about NUA, non union airline, or Lorenzo Airport Services?
Ground. Co sounds dumb.

Or Steenland ground services, but change Steenland's name just a little bit to something at sounds like reeling.

Ground Co., it's short and to the point. No need for some acronym name or a name that's a mouthful to say.

I'm trying again to get some suggestions, it was pretty late at night back east when I posted it, the winning suggestion gets to have lunch with Steenland!
Or would that be the losing suggestion?

No one "wins" at NW these days. Why not call it CRAP?
Customer (service) &
Ramp
Airline
People
Ok, Ok, to be serious, (I'm making assumptions here) It seems NW is creating the company and NW is going to be the customer. So there is no point in creating some fancy name to attract yourself to your own company. Same people, same planes, just organized on paper differently. But if I were choosing the name, I would name it after myself and call it Andrew's Ground Support.

Ground Co. would only have one customer, NW, so who cares? Needless to say, this is only a hypothetical company at this stage, so there really isn't a name. Do people usually think of a name for their child AT CONCEPTION?
