Any update on AA's upgrading cabins on all 777 to Flagship Suits? Flying AA JFK-NRT (upgrading to F) and hope to have a pod seat.

I think the upgrades will be done by the end of 2006. I get the impression that you'll probably get a "coffin" seat, but at this point it's anybody's guess.

You might want to check the AAdvantage board at FlyerTalk for more info on this.

You can check on AA.com and see if your flight is equiped with the suites or coffin seats. Go to "Check Available seats" section and then type in the date and your flight number and your route...

If the seat map comes up with 2-2-2 seating configuration, it is the coffin seats, and if it is the 1-2-1 seating configuration, it is the suites seating.

I am actually under impression that many of the NRT and KIX flights are using the new first clsas suites.
