Today (Tuesday 15/11), QF is celebrating it's 85th anniversary with the visit of the A380 in QF colours and a huge party in BNE!

Hope they make another 85!

What are the different colour schemes for QF over the years?

In Wednesday's Daily Telegraph they had a great poster of many of the liveries. My step-dad got me two so I could stick them up in my room one on each side.

Congratulations to Qantas - truly it personifies the spirit of Australia.

"The Qantas board could also approve plans early next month that will replace the "most recognised" symbol on the tails of its long-haul aircraft with a less iconic and more gaudy badge — the orange star."

That would be pretty stupid if they did. "Less iconic"? Do they know anything about branding?

It's just a round about way of saying that Jetstar is going to go International and fly the routes where Qantas can't make a decent profit.

You'll never see the Kangaroo gone from QF aircraft.

I do quite enjoy a spot of flying - more so when it's not in Economy!
