YVR is my vote
It's always in the top ten when business travellers rate airports.

C72, LOL!

Actually, what criteria would an "Airport of the Year" possess?

Cleanest?
Most User-Friendly?
Most Ammenities?
Choice of Destinations?
Aircraft/Airline Variety?
Most Improved?

Probably you could have multiple Airports of the Year!

How about a "Worst Major Airport of the Year" award? I think that would be interesting!

Well the worst overall airports in the U.S will be between DTW,MIA,and maybe JFK,take your pick.I would rather have the best airport be ranked by all of the points that Travelin man brought up.

My vote also goes to YVR. It's really clean with some very friendly people willing to guide you...It is also the best airport in Canada for the hearing impaired!

Hong Kong International Airport has good links to the city, has superb architecture and it's the best airport I've been to.
The weirdest and coolest airport I've ever been was in Caticlan, Panay Island near Boracay, Philippines. It had one real short runway and the terminal was tiny, made of wood and the windows had no glass. When I arrived, it was pretty much flooded. The biggest planes operating from the airport are De Havilland Dash 7's

I think Orlando is the best I've been too. Also, I like Washington National now too. Miami is doing a great job renovating its airport aswell. It should be great on day.

I have just come back from YVR and that place was amazing. Very bright, colourful, and with a real native-indian theme throughout.

Hong Kong is pretty amazing as well, with fantastic links to HK Island.

I quite like CDG as well.

Worst - probably my home LHR. Overcrowded, dark, dingy, unorganised, the tube sucks, Heathrow Expense is well expensive.

Great aircraft at LHR though!

My vote would be for YVR though!

I feel that the best in the US is Orlando and the best international is Hong Kong.
