Does anyone know which airline is slated to receive the final 747-400 built? I assume no more orders will be taken for it.

Actually the order book for the 744 is still open if anyone wants to order one...

I don't know who is taking the last 744 but I am absolutely sure it will be a cargo version.

Is there any possibility of FX converting some of their 744F orders to 748F orders? I'm sure Boeing wouldn't mind them doing that.

That's a good bet. There are only four 744 pax versions in the backlog, and they are old orders from Phillipine airlines that aren't exactly going to be built in our lifetime.

So anyone know who took delivery of the final 744 EUD ever made?

I predict the last 747-400 will be going to one of the major airlines as a freighter.

China Airlines 747-400 GE 26-Apr-2005

That was the last 744 pax version ever delivered. And it had GE engines, the engine option nobody wants...
