I will be in MDE from 12/27 thru 12/31, Have you ever been there? During day time our down town airport Enrique Olaya Herrera operates many flights within Colombia. These are all on small prop or jet liners. Our International Airport is bussy either early in the morning with all domestic flights leaving and arriving, MD-80's, Fokker 50's, 757, DC-9's or late at night, not much acitivity but in the morning AA 757 leaves to MIA, Copa's 737 leaves to PTY, Avianca's 757 to MIA, Avianca's 757 or 767 arriving from JFK, Tampa's 767, DC-8 arriving and departing, and Centurion's DC-10. Nightlife in MDE is very good, lots of good looking women, visit places like Parque LLeras, Mangos on a friday night is excellent, bars and restaurants in Las Palmas, there are also some good bars and restaurants in Sabaneta. If you don't have a hotel yet, I recommend Hotel Dann Carlton in el Poblado.

Fares are 340 dollars In Aerorepublica/Copa (the only difference is the time), but the problem is that the Earliest I can travel is on the 2nd and the latest I can return is on the 4th. so it is cutting it a bit tight. I am going to a Island in the panamanian caribbean for new years and it is a bunch of money, I dont think I will be able to make it. If I can I will contact you guys through IM or Email
I heard that Air Panama, a new panamanian regional airline is planning to fly to MED (not sure if rionegro or oyala) They dont have fares online, you have to call them, If they are cheaper then I will try to book them (would be a first flight on a Fokker 27)
