I saw the following posted on one of the numerous 747-8 threads

Quoting Singel09 (Reply 150):
As KLM Needs to replace their 747 fleet, especially the combi's due to new legislation,

just wondered if anyone could fill me in on this

I have two questions in particular

1/ are combi a/c to be banned/restricted?

2/ if so , is the reason related to the loss of the SA combi enroute TPE-JNB
many years ago ?

thanks in advance for any answers
