I found the following news article in Flight International mentioning that Airbus will be demonstrating MSN004 in full Emirate colours, at the Dubai Airshow. This will be the first time the A380 will appear in an Airlines full colour scheme.
The most ironic part about this is that MSN004 is equipped with RR while Emirates has chosen EA.
The other ironic part about all of this is the fact that this very same aircraft is destined to go to Ethiad.

Love it when I'm right When I made this exact suggestion about a month ago (around the first flight of the all-white msn004), it was met by several eye-rolling posts from Hamlet69. So... how will you be having your crow, Hamlet?

I hope they paint it at night and the painters confuse EK colors with KLM colors

Is it me or has 'time' made the A380 look much nicer??? It was hard to grasp such a monstrosity of a plane, at first... but now it just seems much more 'normal' and every day. It's becoming more pleasant to the eyes into something really nice looking. Love the wings and the tail... the nose still is hard to like.

I remember reading that when the 747 was touring for the Paris Airshow, Pan Am, the launch customer, wanted its logo painted on the test aircraft, since it had ordered 25 747s. However, Boeing nixed the idea and flew the aircraft in its own colors.
How times have changed!
Flights to the moon and all major space stations. At Pan Am, the sky is no longer the limit!
: Wow! The flag looks fabulous on that tail! I bet the Emiratis will love the size of it, too.
: Yeah, it looks good in the Emirates colors. Hopefully it'll look good in full SQ and QF as well. pilottim747
