Kingfisher to set up pilot training centre

The aviation academy will be equipped with flying simulators, he told delegates attending the second Indo-US Economic Summit.
"Instead of leaning on government-run training centres, we have decided to set up our own academy," said Dr Mallya. "This will be able to create of pool of trained pilots for Kingfisher Airlines as well as the entire aviation industry in India."

It makes sense. With more training centres & Simulators available.More savings & better opportunity for trained staff.
