Are you kidding me with this??? Being from NC, just up the road a bit in OAJ, I don't see how there is enough demand for this kind of service out of ILM. Granted, it's a beautiful city and I LOVE it when I'm there, but who is going to fly this? Are they gearing for the coastal traffic who would normally drive to RDU and fly AA to LGW? I totally don't understand this one.

First, Stansted is a good 1 1/2 hour drive or 45 minute train ride from central London (without traffic) and 2nd, the only connections out of Stansted are to Eastern Europe and maybe Israel (although I'm not certain if this is still the case). So if you are flying to London to connect to any long haul flight, you'd need to navigate all the way to Heathrow via train through central London or drive about 50+ miles. Who would do this and also pay a premium fare AND also accept a Bermuda enroute stop ? Could be it's really intended for Wilmington to Bermuda traffic and Bermuda - London traffic.
