It seems like, from flatseats.com, and from there website, Iberia actually has a pretty nice seat for their new business class product. Obviously, there are other flaws that outset the seat, but out of curiosity, does anyone know about the rollout schedule and whether it is serving Chicago yet?

The seats have been officially out since May 2005.
The A340-600 fleet is installed with the new Business product and at least four A340-300s are installed with the new product. Apparently two A340-300s will go in every month to be upgraded.
The only A340-300 I know that has the new product in it is EC-IIH but there are indeed more.
Nope. That's when the new Business Plus service was oficially put into service, but the seats have been out since the arrival of EC-IZX in October 6th, 2004.
The 10 A340-600s currently in service have those new seats, and about 6 A340-300s should have them installed at the moment.

The retrofitting of the A340-300s is expected to be finished in April or May 2006.
IIRC, another a.net member who is an Iberia employee said something about ORD being one of the main destinations for the new Business Plus equipped aircraft so it should be already more common to see the new seats instead of the old ones on the MAD-ORD-MAD flights.
