One of the reported CIA aircraft - a DHC-8 N505LL is parked at GFK Flight Support as of right now, not sure what it is doing here... anyone have any more info on this or other CIA aircraft? and is this one of the aircraft supposedly used to shuttle prisoners?

Transporting them in a DHC-8? Sounds more like torturing them by riding one...  Wink

Put each bad guy in the middle seat with a fat guy on either side and maybe we'll quickly be told where Osama really is...  Wink

They are having a secret meeting with the Dalai Lama. They were supposed to do it in Abilene, but the Rotary convention took all the hotel rooms.

FAA Aircraft Registration N505LL

Registrant: PATH CORP
Address: PO BOX 305
REHOBOTH BEACH, DE 19971-0305 US
Manufacturer: DEHAVILLAND
Serial: 415
Model (Year): DHC-8-315 (1995)
Type: Turbo Multi

This is what I found on the aircraft. No quite sure who Path Corp is. I still have not figured out why the CIA would be in Grand Forks with it?

Shuttle them from/to where? Cheyenne to Rapid City???  sarcastic

And we KNOW this is a CIA plane, how? Our dear departed GDoole01 professed this to be true . . . where did he get his infomation? Did anyone authenticate it, or did we all just run off haphazardly in whatever direction our compass was pointed declaring his information to be gospel?

I must ask the question once again . . . . "who cares".

Quoting NWA ARJ (Reply 6):

It's a conspiracy . . . . someone wants to add George Bush face to Rushmore and another someone want to add Bill Clinton . . . the CIA is there to settle the disagreement . . .

This one was at AMS last week, and is now 'big news' in the media...
It seems nobody in the Netherlands wants to tell why it was here, and some parties even don't confirm her visit to AMS! Weird

Well, I know that Icelandic Review Online is a very credible and highly regarded source of investigative journalism, so now finally, once and for all, we all know that this is a "torture plane"!!!

So what?

Quoting Airbuseric (Reply 13):

Maybe it was on "Nunya" business. Just like the Nike G-V with the landing gear problem yesterday. Why isn't anybody busting down their door demanding to know what kind of business they were pursuing with their private aircraft? Are you just assuming it's legitimate?

Maybe Icelandic Review Online will look into it and give us all the answers.

You know all those terrorists in North Dakota that need captureing.

Maybe the secret underground prisons really do exist, there's a lot of open land in North Dakota.*

On a more serious note, maybe it was just fuel stopping. If these reports are true, this plane has done some serious globe hopping, it could just be on its way home.

Yeah, its gotta be something to do with the border. Actually with the long Canadian border, North Dakota is a possible entry point for terrorists in to the country.

The wierd thing is that its possible to track this aircraft online. It flew in from Europe via YFB to GFK, then flew to FFZ (in AZ) and now on to FL60 (in FL). Most of the time important government flights dont show up on the flight trackers (ex. Presidential flights and Dept of Justice transport flights)

Maybe it's not an important government flight. I'm sure they just flew it to North Dakota to make conspiracy theorists scratch their heads.
