Does anyone know why:

FR9272 from Eindhoven and FR206 from Dublin diverted from Luton today? (21-11-05).

Both flights were estimating at 0926 Local

Easyjet EZY2552 landed at 0949 and Aer Arran RE501 landed at 0935.

Anyone know what the problem was?

Fog I suspect; seems to be affecting quite a few airports (MAN and BHX are both affected).

I wonder if HHN flights would divert to FRA.
LH Bosses would probably have a heart attack if they seen an FR 738 land at FRA  Wink

Depends on what Cat the aircraft is certified for. For sure the EZY 737NGs are certified to land in thick fog, and probably the ATRs too. Don't know whether all FRs aircraft are - maybe someone can advise?

If possible HHN flight are diverted to CGN- about one and half hour drive from HHN. CGN landing-fees are lower than FRA fees....
