Good news for Jetstar.
One question though. These flights are from Singapore. I wonder will they put a package together to fly you from say..Sydney to Singapore and then on to Cambodia?

Quoting Nimish (Reply 1): I hope this is not like their service to BLR, which was announced a long time ago, due to start end-October, but no news as yet.
I hear third hand this is something to do with a change at QF going to Lufthansa Systems for their flight planning, apparently QF was doing the flight planning for 3K, now it looks like QF is moving away from their own system to Lido. Not sure of the 3K route structure, this could possibly be their first ETOPS route also.

SIN-SYD is maybe too long for an A320. I wonder why Valuair stopped to fly to PER after they merged with Jetstar. The service was succesful and it has not been replaced.
Also, recently Tiger Airways annouced SIN-DRW, 4xweek.

Qantas have announced they are codesharing on Jetstar Asia flights so it is quite conceivable you will soon be able to get a through Qantas flight number to/from Cambodia.

Cambodia fares on legacy carriers are very high, so especially with Air Asia and Jetstar entering the market, it will help a lot.
