I just wanted to know what carriers are most likely to place firm orders with boeing before the end of the yr? Also any news of carriers that are firming up on there deals and close to signing. Thanks,

Qantas is to announce on December 7.

I hear Cathay Pacific is also announcing something by the end of the year.

Trent.

I hear CX have postponed announcing until next year. Because the financial markets value stability, I think Boeing are interested now in postponing firm signings until next year. They have already beaten Airbus in orders for this year. Now it is time to focus on beating Airbus in orders for next year.

What about LY or SQ? Are they looking to place orders in the near future? I read somewhere that LY was looking at the 787, is this true?

Quoting Jakob77 (Reply 4):

Is it going to be what was rumored at the beginning of the week? (16) 777-300ER's? or some less/more?

Thanks for the info.
