All,

My first post here so don't beat me up too bad. I try to keep track of the tail number of all aircraft I fly on however, last week I couldn't get it for two of them due to bad lighting. Flights were on Delta and I know the Flight numbers, dates, etc. Is there any way I could get the aircraft tail number?

Thanks

BTS will have it, but they are a month or two behind. Maybe from DL will be quicker.

DL757ORF...Next time, if you miss the tail reg number, get the aircraft number. It's on the nose gear door or above the nose gear. I, and others, have books that can cross-reference to the reg number. Sometimes just ask the pilot while disembarking. They will usually tell you the aircraft number.

If two people agree on EVERYTHING, then one isn't necessary.

If you search "Ship XXXX" on the photo search on here while specifying the appropriate aircraft type and airline, that will usually get you the registration also as some photographers do include that number in their comments.
