N801UA, the first UA A319 delivered and soon to be the first in the new colors, will be flying out of either Amarillo, TX or Blytheville, AR on Friday.
Don't know its routing yet.
In other UA new paint related news, N175UA and N180UA will bear the new colors in the middle of December, the second and third 747-400s in the new scheme.
N912UA will be the first 737-500 to wear the updated blue/white livery, and at this point every UA mainline fleet type will have a new livery example.

Is the STAR 744 out yet? I thought that was supposed to be painted this month...

Due to certain maintenance schedule complications arising from the long repair of N196UA, I've been told neither of the 744s being repainted will be the long awaited Star Alliance jumbo.

Oh well...we still have the LH bird! And honestly, I'd rather see it in the new livery, there are enough STAR jets flying around lol.

I agree.
If it were up to me, the Star Alliance 763 and 777 would have never happened... the harmonious blend of blue and white better suits those planes!

Any sightings yet?
Does anyone know where it is flying to after the paint shop?
Lower your expectations! You will always be pleasantly surprised!
