Coming this 4th (Dec.), a US-east 757 will head to the shop to get the new livery. Should look good.

Actually I hear it will be N626AU and as far as routings no one will know till it leaves the paint shop in mid-Dec. It is a non overwater equipped bird so don't expect to see it in SXM.

Why would they paint 623. They just put that in Star colors not that long ago. I rode on 623, seemed like a nice airplane.

I agree. That seems stupid and a waste of an opportunity to paint a plane that really needs to be converted from the US or HP livery. There are some pretty bad looking US planes out there.

It fits much better on the 67s then on the narrow bodies. I'll be excited to see how the 757 looks in it.  bouncy

Since it's non-water equipped, is there a chance we could see her in PVD? I'd love to see it in person.

EEEEUUUWW is not a word.

That just calls more attention to the first two words in my post ... LEISURE AIR.

The crap bankrupt charter company the "NEW USAIRWAYS" decided to pay millions and millions for the livery rights to ... theres a good omen for ya - -- steal the livery of an airline that sh*t the bed.

Sounds like this idiotic decision was made not in Tempe .... but in Crystal City!

Little boi --- you're WAY too young to even begin to know what i mean by any of this. I worked for US for the entire 90s decade. Why dont you ask your "former USAirways pilot Dad , currently proudly flying for Mid-Altantic in the EMB-170" (according to your profile) what "Crystal City" was. And maybe he can help you with the first statement too - - it might involve a little Photo-Search research here on A.net. Cmon .. you can do it !

I know what "Crystal City" is. I probably know more about US than you do. So what if you worked at the express division in the 90's. US has drastically changed, and you know nothing about it anymore. Seems like you are a disguntled former employee who needs to get a life.

You are completely wrong. The livery was made in Tempe, designed in-house by America West's marketing department which saved millions of dollars by not hiring some New York-based marketing consultant . It was also imperative to convey a new corporate image to the public.
