Mainline Jets To Nantucket?

The 11/85 OAG shows a weekly New York Air D9S Nantucket to Boston-- but I don't see any D9S flight into ACK, so likely it's a mistake. Have main line jets ever been scheduled into Nantucket?

I know AA used to fly MD80s into Nantucket in the 1990s (from ORD I think).

Continental used to run 737's to ACK from EWR (or so Ive heard)...now its seasonal ERJ summer service.

They do regularly receive charters...sometimes using what you would call a mainline jet...ie MD80 737 etc...

AA used to do LGA-ACK in the MD80 ... i think it was just Fri and Sun service and I think it was just for one season a couple of years back.

Northeast flew DC9 10 and 30s into ACK (as well as MVY and HYA!) back in their day from LGA and BOS.

Continental mainline even did EWR to ACK in 733 (I believe from LGA at one point as well) just on Friday nights in and Monday mornings back ... to accomodate Frank Lorenzo, rumor had it. This was in addition to CO Express service on the route as well.

Back in 1996 , I was working in ACK during the summer season for US and CO was flying a 737 in from EWR on Fri nights and it would leave on Sun morning. I remember this because one actually landed short of the runway and took out a few lights on one foggy Fri night...
