the other day me and my dad were at iah doing some spotting and i saw what im pretty sure was a CO md80. Knowing that co made its last passenger flight in january, the only thing i can think of is that it was off to a new carrier, mojave,or a charter flight.
all posts welcome
i apologize if im wrong here but this is my first post

It is a remote possibility. Just because they are not flying passengers anymore doesn't mean they are not still flying them. Many times when a aircraft is placed with a new airline they will do a test flight and that could be what you saw. Also, just guessing here.. the aircraft might have been back in IAH for an End of Lease inspection.

It's possible you saw an ex CO MD-80 if there happens to be one running US Marshalls flights. What day, if you don't mind me asking, were you out there as there are ways to check for any odd flights that may have occured that day.

Hey IAH744, welcome to Airliners.net! Do you happen to have the flight number or tail number? We could find it really quick if either of those two bits of information are availiable. I love the Continental MD-80's so i'm kinda interested in seeing what's happening with them. Also, are you sure it was October 30th? Thanks!
