Hi,
does anybody know, where is the best location to open a new airline ? I think europe is to bad for this, there are to many established carriers. May be a marked concept like NG but with a 757-300 within north america for example JFK-LAX ?
And make an agreement with another carrier who's flying out to JFK and do not have any agreement s with other airlines ? I think that is a good concept because there is no airline in the U.S. what have this super service like NG on their routes !

Isn't there a little too much traffic from other huge carriers on the JFK-LAX sector ???
Looks like it's a better idea to start service from smaller airports like PanAm does. But that's just my opinion

Yeah, may be your right, but there's not so much traffic you can't make an marketing agreement with an other carrier because you don't serving any hub. And the second lesson is, to establish your very new airline and the new airport you use !! When you start with direct attack to an other airline youre big in the press and after that all persons talking about you and your good service on that route. Anybody inerested to open a new airline within the U.S ? Pls ctct me !!!

hello!
you've a very good idea!
I find that cool!
But you know, in the United Sates, it's rather hard to open a new airline, they're at once acquired...
look, for exemple, even though it's not similar, Swiss World...
But in Europe there are airports which would need to have their own airlines, Geneva for example, (and Hamburg, why not?) If you want to go Asia(f.e...) you have to change at leatst once, and there numerous potential passagers in the region.
Greetings
Kel.

I would love to start a new airline. I have bounce arround a few ideas of my own. I would base out of IND...Since it is demographicly correct and is a growing airport. There is much needed demand for service between IND - Detroit. At present only one carieer serves that and thats Northwest. Maybe use DC9s or 717s.
