You can see Avianca's new VIP room in BOG, here:

http://imagenes.telematica.net/avianca/2005.11.30/sala.htm

It took a while to download, but maybe is a low connection here at my office, not sure.

You can also find information on Avianca's VIP Lounge located in the international terminal at Eldoraro Intl Airport in BOG in the Avianca December edition of the in flight magazine on page 32.

Oh wow! Very nice! I assume this is located on the ground floor of the int'l concourse? Or is it also available for domestic flights? The only thing lacking to be on par with some of the best lounges I've been into in the US and Europe would be a view of the ramp.

By the way, any news on remodelling the other lounges? I was at AV's int'l lounge in BAQ and found it quite small. The domestic lounge seemed much larger. Then again I believe the only int'l flight AV operates out of BAQ is to MIA.

The stream shows all the windows covered with blinds, but all of them have an excellent view of the international and domestic ramps... it is very nice.

The VIP Room is located after you go thru customs and before the last security check before going into the gates concourse..

Not yet. There will also be a couple of VIP Rooms [name which I much dislike] located in Avianca's Puente Aéreo terminal with similar facilities available for travellers.

As said, a couple of VIP Rooms in Puente Aereo will follow, and a bigger, much better designed lounge in Cartagena will also be available soon. CTG is, after all, AV's fourth largest station in Colombia.

Yes. However, you must remember that AV allows members of AviancaPlus Oro, Platino and Platino Ejecutivo to access its VIP Rooms in BOG, MDE and BAQ even if they're not travelling with AV, but with other airline on any international segment. In this case, CM to PTY or Aires to PTY/AUA/CUR/MAR.
