Two New FR Routes From LPL

Ryanair has announced two new routes from its LPL base: Seville and Porto. Both routes will be operated by the 738 and start on the 22nd of February. This brings the total number of Ryanair routes from LPL to 20.

Lots of FR routes these days are less than daily - seems to be a new strategy on thinner routes... wonder if the 738's are too prooving big for thin routes?

Perhaps so - BGY-NCL goes to 3 weekly and LPL-BGY goes to 4 weekly; effectively the LPL aircraft that would do the BGY services is now operating the new services. But then that's some non-positive about FR ops so I should not be expecting some pe@rson or other to mention it  Wink

I'm pleased that they have launched Porto and Seville from LPL. They are quite interesting route choices, I'm sure Ryanair will make them both successful. The variety of routes now on offer from LPL with Ryanair is pretty impressive!

I note that a Prestwick-Reus route is showing on the destinations tab on the RYR website. I also read on another site that it is to run 3 times weekly from February. The other website also stated that they will be starting Prestwick-Marseille 3 times weekly from April. Good new if true. Marseille is a new RYR destination. Wonder when these routes are to be announced.

LOL. Nope, I'd happily mention it. But I'm not in the UK for over 2 1/2 months so bugger searching for all the changes.  Smile Besides, it is the winter season - wait until the all-important summer season kicks off.
