New Doha Airport

For those of you interested, the new Doha/Qatar Airport (due to open in 2009) has its own website now. Have a look here, there are some pictures & videos to be seen.

Nice development, and good they have it in stages. However, I'm not sure about the amiri terminal, although I like the open-air boarding bridges (anything so that the HRHs and foreign dignitaries don't have to walk down a flight of stairs, heh Wink

), that's a cool touch.

ahhhh when will Jeddah see an improved terminal.

Very nice looking design, however as mentioned the similarities with HKG are many. But that's not a bad thing though!
