FlyBE- How Is It?

Hi there, I am planning to fly on flyBE. Does anyone have a recent experince on this airline??
Especially I am looking for more information on the "new" Inflight music! So, is it true, that FlyBe is playing music during the flight with lot of commercials etc.?? listen goodvibes

Any information is most welcomed!

Quite a decent airline, although their punctuality leaves a lot to be desired.

Flew with them on a day trip BHX - EDI on one of their BAE146-300. FLights both ways were on time and as only half full each way (was on the first flight up and last flight back) had enough space to move around as needed. Cabin Crew were friendly and helpful when needed although you don't need much on a 55 minute flight really!! Will be using them next year to Belfast from BHX for a family wedding. Hope to get to fly on my first prop for that one!!

The best way forwards is upwards!

I did a treble-whammy on three different regional airlines out of BHD this summer, and used BE to fly on their soon-to-be-pulled NWI route. However, my experience on board has always been a pleasure, and I'm a big fan of the Q400 too... finally some variety on aprons and aircraft stands across the UK Smile

BE may not be as fantastically successful as Easyjet or Ryanair, but they've done pretty well out of a niche they carved for themselves. They balance a combination of regional routes that the big boys couldn't make work with their 737s and A319s as well as occasionally taking them on by targetting business passengers: BHD-NCL v. Easyjet's BFS-NCL.
