LAN has announced that beggining 6 January they will offer a two weekly non-stop service between Salvador and Santiago.

Flights will depart SCL late Friday and Saturday evenings (23:45pm), arriving early in the morning at around 5am. Te return flight departs SSA at noon arriving 5 hours later in SCL.

The flights will be operated by an A320.

Any ideas how long it will run? It's obviously just a seasonal flight.

Hope to see some pictures on the database!

Indeed, now that you mentioned I remember discussing it here on A.net.

Would be nice if they kept it all year around... doubt they would be making money though.
