If it were a 747, do you think the Gooooooogle would've been done on the top deck, main deck, or both?

The tail design has the same colors as Thomas Cook. Was this deliberate, or is this just an ex-Thomas Aircraft and they didn't bother redoing the tail?

There is one problem with airbus. Though their products are engineering marvels they lack passion, completely.

Its a fake. I've seen pictures of the actual airliner and it is quite plain, for now.

And it isn't going to be painted in Google colors...they have said numerous times that they don't want it associated with the corporation, as it is a private plane for themselves.

Just a joke but, since they are Google, and that is a really big number, wouldn't they want a plane that went really far? Maybe a 777LR?

The founders of Google have purchased a 767-200 from Qantas which is currently in Texas under going a corporate interior installation and paint job. We probably won't see the jet for another year as it takes a looong time to engineer, install and paint things of this size.

The range for a passenger 767-200ER is around 6650nm. This is with passengers and a full load. I would guess this aircraft would be able to make the LHR-SYD route no problem due to less weight on the aircraft, and added fuel tanks because they donate need so much cargo. A private 777LR would probably be able to fly for upwards of 40 hours!

Is Google actually going to start their own airline or are they going to use the 767 as a private jet. Where would their first destinations be.
