Here's the spreadsheet that Airbus has updated. Indigo has finalized it's order for 100 A32X.

Total order for the 11 months of 2005 is 687. This, I suppose, does not include any cancellations.

Can contrast that with Boeing as of Nov. 30, 2005. Boeing has 827 orders excluding cancellations.

Indigo isn't in that spreadsheet you linked to... Are you getting it confused with the "Interjet" one for 10?

So, if you add the December Chinese order (I claa it an order, because even if it is not the detailed contract, the signature on the document is a good guarantee) and today's Finair order, the gap is not as big as I thought, and we will have to wait untill Dec 31 to know who sold more (if you care, of course).
For me , it is a fantastic year for both A and B !!!
And it means thousands of qualified jobs all around the world for the years to come.

NYC777, may I draw your attention on the fact that these spreadsheets are one month old.
They show the status at the end of October.
The new spreadsheets will be published in a day or two.

NYC777,

Where are you getting this info? The Airbus site still only lists orders until the end of October...

Well if you going to add in all the committed but unsigned orders then the gap is still pretty big as Boeing has AI - 58, DBA - 40, CX -12, China - 70, etc.). I don't think you can add those committments as there's uncertainity when they will be signed.

It's there, 70 A320 and 30 A321. Look again.

Can anybody translate the orders numbers into an estimated $$$ figure. Taking into account the difference between Boeing and Airbus in the widebody sector (352 vs. 138) the value-share of this year's order must favor Boeing even more that what the absolute number of orderred planes.

Attempted to update the Airbus one a few times (even went from the main site and deleted cookies etc..) no joy. Still only 40 A321's and 11 of them are for CES.

But about the revenue, Boeing has got the nose ahead there. That's why it's probably better to compare revenue to revenue instead of total number of orders.

Hmm, I only get October's as well. The small table on the page has been updated, but the link only gives me last month's spreadsheet.

Perhaps NYC777 got it earlier and for some reason it was taken down again? Odd. confused

The "Orders" tab list gross orders for the year. To work out cancellations, order switches (e.g. A319 - A320) and options being taken up, you have to compare the numbers in the "Worldwide" tab on a month by month basis. It's a somewhat tedious, but can be done. Someone with Excel expertise should be able to automate it.

Airbus do confirm the exact number of cancellations in their "End of Year" press conference (usually mid January).

Isn't the UFO A340-600 the one that was reported in Paris (and in that months table) then aren't you missing the a few A318 and A319CJ's?
And a few others.

I'll believe it when I see it on the Airbus website. No offense.
