What I want to know, How many more Pittsburgh jobs are going to get cut and WHEN are US Airways fares going to be cut. For a "Low cost carrier" they are not cheap. Heck, as a resident of pittsburgh, its cheaper to fly anyone BUT US Airways.

Most jobs that were going to be cut, have been. They just came out and said heavy maintenance would be staying in PIT, as will the ops center.

LOW...COST...CARRIER.

Where do you see FARE in that? Some people need to stop confusing the two. Yes most LCC's have lower fares...but that doesn't mean they are going to drop fares when people will continue to pay a premium.

You are absolutely correct. US/HP has dubbed itself the worlds largest LCC, and that does not include low fares.
