Any OS ppl around that can help out? I'm having some trouble on my flight next week VIE-MEL with the seats i booked.

They say its due to an equipement change... but the flight is still listed as a T7.

Any help from an OS staffmember is appreciated  Smile

I am not OS staff, but may I suggest you call them and sort out any problem you have. They should be able to help you. Maybe they have different seat configurations in their T7.

Nick

I did call them, but the dutch staff couldt tell me about the seatconfigs and i'm not so happy what they re-assigned me with.
Maybe i should just call res. in vienna?

Unfortunately, I don't know who handles calls for OS in NL, but in VIE you definitely speak to OS staff.

Hansie, sorry to hear about that. I can't remember having different configurations on our B777s at Austrian from the days I spent with them, so the whole equipment change story seems weird to me. Sorry to hear that it all got messed up.

I will post a link to the seat configuration HERE.

If you are not able to change the seat reservation online, and the staff in the Dutch callcentre are not being of much help, I suggest you call reservations in Vienna. They were always able to help me out.

Here is the number: +43 51789

Good luck!  Smile

how long has the VIE-SIN-MEL been a 777 ? I am sure it used to be a 767 and the 777 was only used on the VIE-KUL-SYD

They seem to have kicked me out because the seat is now blocked as a disabled seat (but not booked by an actual disabled person)....

only windowseats available are blocked for UM's Sad

Yes, OS has two different seat configurations on the 772

OE-LPA and PB have a 3-3-3 forward and 3-4-3 rear economy configuration,
OE-LPC is completely has a 3-4-3 configuration, but with a little more legroom, as the total number of seats is the same.

That might also be a reason for the "equipement change" note.

Further changes will come starting as of next may, with the introduction of the new business class.

hmmm.. thanks for that info, i didnt know that !
Is that change done after the NG->OS transformation, or has it always been that way (i have been on their T7's b4, but possibly never on LPC)
