So much for the fact BA are pissed off with General Electric won't work with General Electric in the future....I wonder if this leads to BA potentially purchasing some 777-300ER's, 777-200LR's and some 748-8's.......I wouldn't be surprised if they do, as former CEO Eddington has mentioned BA purchasing the 777-300ER and current CEO Walsh looking into the 748-8......

"GE signs $2.3B deal with British Airways
General Electric Co. has signed a 10-year, $2.3 billion contract with British Airways for engine maintenance, one of the largest engineering contracts in the airline's history.
GE will maintain, overhaul and repair British Airways' RB211-524 and CFM56 engines.
The Rolls-Royce RB211 engines are used in Boeing 747 and 767 aircraft. The CFM56 engines, made by DFM International in a 50/50 partnership of GE and Snecma, run Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 airplanes. "
