I'm confused... isn't this already in the same area as rather-significant MYR?

Of course they'll take a look at it. The Rep. just got close to half a million for his district. I'm sure the local area will give it their best shot! SARCASM ALERT!

Cheers,

MYR's not nearly as significant as you might expect. Gets about 2,000 daily seats in the offseason. (That's barely bigger than your precious ABE.) It's largest carrier, US, serves a whopping 1 destination daily. Ultra-seasonal airports often have lots of trouble maintaining service.

I'm the expert on here on two things, neither of which I care about much anymore.

US beats Hooters there? Or doesn't Hooters count because of being "Charter" in those numbers? Also, MYR might not be significant in terms of seats, although 2000 daily isn't bad to be honest... but why build a new one right down the road if you can't fill the one you've got?

Y'know, I didn't count Hooters in the 2000 seats, I completely forgot about them. And their website isn't very friendly, so I can't see easily exactly how many flights they've got, but it's apparent US is bigger. NK was #2 until recently, but I think they've dropped behind DL. I'm not sure where Hooters would fit in with those two.
