I was browsing through the Etihad timetable and noticed something peculiar. EY701 leaves Abu Dhabi at 9:00am and arrives in Bahrain at 9:05am local time. The flying time is listed as 1:50. Is there some odd time zones in the middle east, how can that be? Same thing on the return flight, EY702. The distance between the 2 airports is listed as 244nm. Isn't 1:50 a little long to travel 244nm, even considering airlines build time into the timetables for traffic and such. Any insight would be appreciated.
