TK will have a cermony on the 15th of December(this Thursday)where they will unveil and introduce 3 new aircraft to its fleet.
The big surprise will be the unveiling of their retro-scheme A/C which is painted in the livery that TK used from the 60's through the 90's.

Second unveiling will be the first addition of their new widebody order, A332, painted in the revised TK livery.(I think the delivery plane reg will be TC-JNA)

Also they will unveil the first addition of their newly ordered 737-800's also painted in the new C/S. TK will get delivery of 26 more 737-800's. Boeing will deliver a new 737-800 every month to TK, until 2008 where they will complete the order.

I am hoping that IST spotters will be there especially to picture the TK A332 in IST, which doesn't exist in the database yet.

I actually like the new c/s, but they had otehr option that were far better looking, but they didn't want to take chances. The retro does look great on the A320 too, I'm with you on that one

It left Seattle on Sunday afternoon. It was going to leave at 10:30 am but we had ground layer fog going only to 300 feet AGL yesterdya morning.
By the way, Boeing was shocked when 60 people showed up for the aircraft pick up. 60 government officials for a single aircraft pick up.. yeah we deserve to be in EU.

This is not TK's first 738 in new colourscheme.

Actually the first was TC-JFG which was painted in new colours at AMS and left on 27 November already. It has been at AMS again doing normal operations.
