I just wanted to see what the rest of you (the flying public) think about the 207 min ETOPS granted to the 777. Pesonally, I know that its extremely safe to fly that distance from the nearest diversionary airport, but I'd just feel a little on edge ! Wouldn't you ?
Your View.

P.S. I know they are only going to be used on the pacific routes when the weather isn't the greatest.

Just to add to the conversation as this parallels the 2 engine vs. 4 engine discussion, ETOPS 207 isn't just like 180 with 207 substituted everywhere in the rule. It only allows the extra 15% when an alternate is closed for weather at the departure time, but is expected to reopen.
