You'd be surprised how easy it is to fill an F cabin between NYC and South Florida, though it is admitedly much easier from LaGuardia and Newark than JFK. And I'm not talking about free upgrades, either. There is a healthy amount of paid F-class on MIA/FLL/PBI-NYC, both business and leisure. Obviously, though, MIA gets the bulk of it.

DL will likely keep a few two-class 757s from JFK/LGA-Florida, though their operations will likely look like they did a few years ago, a mix of 737s, 757s, and MD-80s with maybe a 767 here or there. Hopefully no RJs though with DL it wouldn't surprise me.
