CHICAGO - Boeing Co.'s stock hit an all-time high yesterday, capping a nearly three-year ascent that reflects the aerospace firm's rebound in commercial-airplane sales and continuing strength in defense contracting.

How I wish Boeing would approve a higher dividend increase particularly the annoucement of QF order. Boeing is enjoying one of their the best years in aircraft order, IMO a 5% increase over the last dividend increase is just too little. Perhaps 10% increase is more appropriate.

Don't forget Boeing doesn't just make aircraft... They also have a huge military side.... So some of the money will probably also be going there?
And the money isn't in the bank for the QF order yet - that'll all come when the aircraft are being delivered (minus deposits, installments etc)!

They did. The payout was increased by 20%, to $0.30 per share. This was yesterday.

Quoting Cloud4000 (Reply 5): If I were an investor, I would start selling. I think Boeing has peaked unless they're going to have a bumper year in order for 2000 as well.
Agreed !
2006 will have fewer a/c sales . However , there are still two possible big orders on the horizon - SQ & EK . Also , as stated above there is Boeing's military/defence contracts .
