As some of you know I just recently took a trip to Hawaii and I just got back today and would like to share my travels.June 13 JAX-IAH CO1269 737-300I was checked in by a very helpful lady in Jacksonville. I got to the gate where they were just starting to board so me and my stepbrother went to our seats 2E&F which are in First class, wow I thought, these seats are superior compared to NW's First class, flight left ontime and was very uneventful. We were served a cheese omlette that tasted excellent and potatoes that were great too. Overall rating 10 out of 10.June 13 IAH-HNL CO1 DC-10-30I proceeded to the gate area to check on my upgrade to Bizfirst when I turned the corner there was like 75 or so screaming kids with red "People to People Student Ambassadors" shirts on. I was praying to god we would get upgraded, but there was none available. We boarded the plane and went to our seats, we were right in the section with all these kids. Anyhow I was shocked at how cramped coach is on their Hawaii DC-10's. The plane looked brand new on the inside and wasnt that yellowish white color of most other DC-10s I have flown. We left 30 mins late cause those kids dont know how to find their seats and have to have people point them out to them. We were served some kinda chicken on the way their and it was horrible which was something I wouldnt expect from Continental. I slept most of the way but I was sore when we got into Hawaii, my back was killing me. Overall 6 out of 10. (Friendly service making up for comfort)June 27 HNL-IAH CO2 DC-10-30We were so glad to get Bizfirst on this flight, especially since its overnight. We boarded the plane and sat in the spacious Bizfirst, the seats had all electronic controls and they had PTVs too. My only complaint was the seat was kinda lumpy but compared to coach I was happy. I didnt sleep at all cause I was still stuck on Hawaii time. We were served some sushi and salmon for an appetizer, a ceasar salad which was good, and for the main mea

The screaming kids, was not COair's fault, which you probably already know. But I do agree, that COair's flights to Hawaii are usually cramped, and scrunchy. That is why whenever I go to HNL, I take the EWR-HNL flight on the 777, nice flight. I hope you had a great stay at Hawaii.
