How did you find that out? I have flown the UAL900/901 several times. I love United and will only fly UAL international. I have flown on N198UA, N119UA, & N116UA, all as UAL900/901. Awesome flights.

i have actually flown on LH as well on the same route (FRA-SFO-FRA) on LH454/455, also a 744. Great flight, but UA has channel 9 first of all, and they just have the most awesome paint scheme ever. It makes the 747 look truely majestic! I sure do hope UA will climb out of its bankruptcy and buy some 747-800's! wouldn't that be awesome??

Sorry, it is the end of a long week and towards the end of a long year for me.
If I am flying on an given flight for a given reason, should the aircrafts's livery be in any way be important to me? (c.f. cost, service, schedule times, connection options, safety, etc).

well Buckieboy, when flying from FRA - SFO the two best options are LH and UAL. they are the only two non-stop. that pretty much means you have a choice between 2 airlines, right? both cost about the same (within $50 of each other...), now i think i will go with my favorite airline.
