Hello all

Does someone know if easyJet does bring back the 6 daily flights on LTN-EDI? The website says that all flights for summer are now on sale but I cannot find the 6 daily LTN to EDI flights.

I am asking because a friend of mine booked 6 flights BSL to LTN with the intension to book LTN to EDI later. If they don't bring back the flights then he will have a problem Big grin (and I too since I proposed him this routing Big grin  Wink ).

Thanks in advance and regards,
RJ100

That would be during the summer schedule.
The website says all flights are open for bookings but I cannot believe that they withdraw from the LTN-EDI route....

Are you sure it wasn't meant to be 6 daily London - EDI, meaning a combination of LTN/LGW/STN? They seem to have 4 daily from LGW next summer plus 2 from STN and 1 from LTN making 6.

RJ100,

I would contact easyjet and get them to clarify the situation as they have recently sent an e-mail out saying ALL summer 2006 flights are now on sale. The GLA-LTN is also only showing one a flight a day in summer, and the GLA-STN doesnt exist at all?

Thanks for the answers, I appreciate it.

My friend called easyJet and they confirmed that everything that is not in the systems right now won't come back.

He now rebooked all BSL-LTN-EDI flights to GVA-EDI direct flights.

Still I cannot understand why they are dropping these flights. In winter schedule they fly 4x daily Gatwick-EDI, 6x daily STN-EDI and 6x daily LTN-EDI. So they give up 12 daily flights on London-EDI per day???

BTW, seems like Liverpool-Cologne will be dropped too!?

Further to my info above, it seems according to easyjet.com online booking the GLA-STN hasnt been dropped but they are offering 1 weekly flight on a saturday! lol. And the 1x daily GLA-Luton flight only shows up only monday to friday! Try searching 19 july and 19th aug, go to calender view.

There's something wrong somewhere.

possible reason 1> Possible expansion from GLA/EDI? maybe they dont want to release these London flights untill they sort out the european timetable from GLA/EDI.

I find it hard to believe that EZY would drop the majority of the London services. So whats going on?

I'm with you on that. Seems very strange.
I need to fly to EDI as well next year and I want to fly via London. Anyone knows when flyGlobespan releases it's summer schedule?

Domestic UK flights have a late sell profile, so EZY have no pressure to put them onsale just yet.

Seems it's just an error in the easyJet system and all will be sorted soon

Oh and the flights aren't on sale because Edinburgh based flights haven't been put on sale for the summer season yet. The one/two daily you can book at the moment from Stansted and Luton are LTN/STN based aircraft. The ones that are missing are EDI based, which aren't on sale yet  Smile

Pesky easyjet and their e-mail which told me:

All our 2006 summer flights are now available at easyJet.com, so you can take your pick of any of our fabulous European destinations! Whether you're planning a relaxing holiday, an exciting city break or a visit to friends and family, book now to get the best prices''

a bit of a lie really but no big deal  Smile
