LH A333 At ORD Today

what flight was this plane operating?? I thought they only used A343s and 744s to ORD.

Looks like MUC is now a 333.
DFW just started getting a 333 5 times a week back in November

Looks like this continues into January. I'm not current on ORD flights, so I didn't know this was new.

The A333 was brought in on the ORD-MUC route with the winter schedule. I believe the first day it was used was on November 1.

At ORD we have...
1 daily FRA: 747-400
1 daily MUC: A330-300
5 weekly DUS: A319

We've been told that FRA will go 3 daily for July and August, but the plans are constantly changing and nothing is confirmed yet. If the third daily begins, it will be a 3-class A343.

In Summer 2006 there will be 2 daily LH A330-300 in ORD:
LH 434/435 from/to Munich and
LH 432/433 from/to Frankfurt

damn..I lived in the chicago area for almost 3 decades..I can't believe there is such a demand for ORD-FRA/MUC flights

is it O&D or business also?....I can't recall of any large German-based businesses in chi'town...

Plenty of connecting pax. LH is ferrying most people to/from Central and Eastern Europe, on MUC flights in particular. Each time I took one of them the LF was 100% in Y, above 80% in C.

duh..silly me..u're correct..my dad went ORD-FRA-JED back in october........but I didn't realise the market was big enough to warrant so many flights...I'm quite impressed actually!

The 333 is a daily occurence at ORD now. Which is great. And on top of that the 319CJ to DUS.
