Next week I will be traveling to ZRH on CO 78....what should I expect from the 767? Is their BusinessFirst similar to the B777? Any input would be great! Happy Holidays!

I have done this route several times in coach and BF. The service is usually great, though the seats are different than the 777. There are varying opinions as to which seats are better than the other - I think both are great.

Don't forget you can check your menu on co.com in advance of the flight.

Enjoy ZRH!

Thanks Mbm3, How much time should I calculate for immigration and how far are the CO Counters from Immigration? Thanks for the info!

What do you mean? After you arrive in ZRH, you shouldn't have to go to the CO ticket counter for anything.

I will be meeting an outbound friend at the CO Counter....we are hoping to cross paths. Does anyone know how long that process will take?

One noticable difference but minor between the two seats. Is that the 767/757 BusinessFirst seats have the seat pockets in the normal lower portion of the seat infront. While the 777's have a slightly smaller seat pocket in the upper part of the seats. My guess for this is b/c the 777 seats recline more. Plus the 777 seats have the extra privacy screens attached to the tops and the PTV's remotes are placed differently.

At ZRH, your CO flight will arrive at dock E, the mid-field dock. From there you need to take the underground to the main arrival hall. Many overseas flights arrive between 0600 and 0715, so you have to expect around 45 minutes to clear passport and costoms control.

The departure hall of terminal 2 with CO is upstairs, a 2-3 minutes walk.

Your friend needs to check-in early for the US bound CO flight, but there is no need to go through passport control early. With a 1015 dep of the CO flight, your friend should leave the check-in area around 0915 to 0930.

Today's arrival of CO from EWR is early at 0733. If you would be on this flight, you could be around 0830 at the CO desks in the departure hall. So would have about an hour with your friend. BTW, there is a starbuck to the right of the entrance to the passport control of terminal 2...

Enjoy ZRH and Switzerland.

The 777 seats I believe have a little bit more pitch but they do recline more flat than the 767/57 seats. I've been on both and I prefer the 767/57 seat. For some reason I sleep better in the cradle position than the flat but angled seats. The hood on the 777 was a nice touch but you'll be pleased either way. I think you might want to avoid the middle single seats though as I could see them getting bumped frequently during the flight.

One more thing. There are less movie options on the 767/57 versus the 777. Of course, I would eat dinner and then take advantage of sleeping in a decent seat than staying up all night watching old movies. Neither of them have VOD though so you have to wait through the movie cycles if you do choose to watch.
