Interesting article. A couple of possibilities:
* Air Deccan is looking to squeeze Airbus on future orders.
* Boeing has decided MAS is not going to order a NB anytime soon (or has chooses Airbus) and is making the delivery slots available to Air Deccan.

Airbus-loyalist Deccan looks at B737 in phase II
