Sorry TurboTristar, this isn't Edmonton International! There's no Canadian airport of that size I know of that looks like this, so it has to be an airport somewhere in the US. Dallas Love Field is surrounded by urban land, as it sits only a few kilometres from downtown Dallas, so it can't be DAL.

Yes, Surleswj is correct it is Lubbock, Texas (LBB).

Ah LBB, such fond memories...

I remember a time when I was at Texas Tech that there was interest in making LBB a regional hub. These hubs would be at airports in the middle of nowhere, LBB, and would essentially be transfer stations for airlines to avoid crowded, bigger city, hub airports.

As you can see, LBB has long runways and PLENTY of room to expand, so it appears it would be perfect for such use, if it ever happens, which is not likely.
