Quote: today, in the airport of Congonhas, in So Paulo, first airplane MK 28 (Fokker 100) of the Ocean Air. The airplane is the first one of eight that they will receive during the year of 2006 and that they will make the routes of medium and long haul between So Paulo (Congonhas), Rio De Janeiro (Galeo) and some capitals northeast. Already in January, it receives another aircraft, that had been acquired of the American Airlines. The first flight will be on 9 of January. "This strategy of the company is not because we want to enter in the market of national aviation, competing with the great companies. Initially, these aircraft go to take care of the demand of the summer in Brazil, later could be in the regional routes where the 50 seats are not enough, for example ", explained German Efromovich, president of the Ocean Air. Until the carnival, the company will make three routes with MK 28: So Paulo - Safe Port - Salvador; So Paulo - Recife; River - So Paulo - Macei - Cortaleza - Juazeiro of the North. Already on the services, the commercial director Renato Pascowitch affirms that the company is being adjusted, as much in the structure of airports as in the edge services. "I can affirm that we will have a different edge service of that we have nowadays", Pascowitch declared.
