Hello I have an international flight on Monday from Philadelphia at 6:30pm but will be in New York until Monday. Does anyone have suggestions for the most efficient way to get from New York City to PHL airport?
Amtrak, Greyound The NJtransit/Septa rail combination only gets you to the center of Philadelphia city, not to the airport...

The NJ-Transit Septa connection will get you into the city center. What I would do is get off at 30th St. Station and take what I believe is the R7 route (Not entirely sure) to the airport. I believe there are only two stops between 30th st station and terminal A.

SEPTA has an airport line (R1). It stops at all terminals and takes you to 30th St. Station in Downtown Philadelphia. From there you can connect to Amtrak or NJ Transit to get to NYC.
It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

The easiest yet more expensive way is to take Amtrak from NYC to 30th street station, then to hop on the Septa R1 airport line at 30th St. If you have time to spare and less money to spend, take the New Jersey Transit NE cooridor line from NYC to Trenton, then the Septa R7 train into 30th St. and then the R1 Airport line.

Nope, no worries. Amtrak, SEPTA, and NJ Transit are not involved in the strike. Yes, there may be the usual volume delays, but as long as you can get to Penn Station, you're golden.

HPLASOps - $12 plus $25 flat rate Center City to Airport cab fare (not including tip).
The best answer will really depend on where you (TA) will be originating in NYC and how much money and time you have. NJTransit - Septa - Septa R1 is probably the least expensive, but it is a LOOONG ride. Any faster train with Amtrak will cost $$$. I have seen van services that offer the ride for approx $55 but I really couldn't recommend anyone (it may be worth a Google search). I'd rent a car personally, but anytime after 3pm in the South Jersey/Philly area on a weekday may prove hectic to navigate, let alone weather and traffic.
Fares from LGA and EWR are expensive. I've been lucky at least once finding a one-way HVN-PHL fare for $79 + taxes.

Let's see, if he takes the 3:15PM out of LGA, which arrives in PHL at 4:30PM - 75 minutes to go 80 mi, it'll ONLY cost $358.00! Take Amtrak to 30th Street Station then the R1 train to the airport, like other/s have suggested. Simple and the whole trip should cost you < $75, unless you take an Acela, and take about 1.5 hours to 30th Street and 20min to the airport.
