Ok.. here goes for CWL:-
CWL-BHD with Air Wales, Aer Arran also starting a service to BHD from CWL and BMIbaby operating it's own flight to BFS instead of an Air Wales codeshare.
CWL-MAN with Air Southwest
CWL-NQY with Air Southwest
CWL-BVA with Air Wales, BMIbaby operating a CWL-CDG service (this is not new)
CWL-RNS with Air Wales
CWL-BRU with Air Wales
These are all of the new services being operated from CWL that are by non-low cost airlines.
There are various other services starting from CWL, however they are by BMIbaby and ThomsonFly which are both Low Cost Carriers!
How about new charter routes? Do you want information on those?

Im not so bothered with Charter...
but anything scheduled is good.
If anyone has timetables also that would be helpful too!!
Planesarecool - any times for the BA services ?
Damian - Thanks for the info.. actually I should be more clear, I was only thinking about FR and U2 when I said LCC... this is only cuz we always have a regular FR/U2 route update on the forums.

In which case, the other 2006 new starts for Edinburgh are:
Sterling to Stockholm (ARN) and Helsinki.
Centralwings to Gdansk and Katowice.
Sky Europe to Krakow.
Flyglobespan to Bournemouth, Murcia and Ibiza.
Jet 2 to Murcia and Pisa.
^^ These are the timetables for the new CWL Air Southwest routes, however on the website itself there is also information on new routes from BRS with Air Southwest.
As for Air Wales timetables, they haven't uploaded them yet as the new routes were announced today. However, I can say that all of their routes during the weeko operate a 2x daily operation with a morning departure from CWL and an evening arrival at CWL. On the weekend, the frequency is reduced to 1x daily with a morning or afternoon departure time.

As for routes from CWL being operated by LCC out of CWL;
BMIbaby operating a service to AMS 1x daily all week and 2x daily service to BFS and GLA. Air Wales did operate flights for them on the BFS and PIK run's until recently. However, now that BMIbaby have taken some of these routes back (instead of getting Air Wales to operate them as there was a shortage of aircraft) they have moved their Glasgow service to GLA. Air Wales still operate CDG, ORK and JER services for them under the BMIbaby brand, whilst the BMIbaby aircraft do the BFS, GLA, EDI and the continental routes such as PRG, AGP, FAO and so on.
Zoom Airlines (Canadain Transatlantic Airline) are operating a service to YVR from CWL, as well as their YYZ service which started Spring 2005.
ThomsonFly (Low Cost, not charter - charter Thomson is at CWL, however they are seperate flights) are going to operate services from CWL to AGP, ALC, PMI, IBZ all at 6x weekly. The charter side is operating flights to these destinations as well as to Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Flordia etc.
Alpha One Airways are launching a CWL-IOM service, however I'm uncertain to whether this service will start as the airline is having problems starting up.
Finally, XL Airways are launching flights from CWL to sun spots around Europe, although they market themselves as low cost they are more of a charter operation.

Quoting Andaman (Reply 10): Also Sterling starts EDI-HEL in spring, meaning too much seats for that route?
I wouldn't have thought so. Both Finnair and Sterling are only operating 2 weekly into EDI. Hopefully Finnair will increase frequency on the route if it is successful. Those connections at HEL are very useful.

You are right, 2x2 weekly probably works fine.
I suppose AY's idea is to feed it's routes to Asia, but I know many Finns here are happy for the better connections to Scotland.
