Questions Re. 707 In Iran, IR 727s + THR

Does the 707 still operated with an Iranian airline (believe it is Saha or something) on domestic flights within Iran? I believe one crashed a while back.

Are there any views of the ramps or whatever while both airside and landside at THR?

Are there any views of the ramps or whatever while in the transit area at THR?

Does IR intend to phase out its 727 aircraft before the end of 2006?

I flown five or six years ago to Kish Island from Tehran in a business trip. Nice surprise when I seen my plane.

Views??? No. I´m sorry but I don´t have any but in the a.net database you can find it.

Flights to Iran are often in my job. I listened last years the plans to acquire TU204 to replace the 727 and other planes but with the terms of the construction of the planes in the arab country.
Jatami president can´t got anything and the new president seems to reach an agreement with Ilyushin Finance to made the aircrafts in Iran.

The deal comprises too AN140 (made in Iran), AN148, TU204, and the newest TU214.

Saha still operates a B707 : I saw it landing from Kish Island just three days ago at Mehrabad.

IR still operates quite a few B727. They will be phased out when ... Iran Air will be "allowed" to renew its fleet. For the moment, IR has simply no other choice.

Don't forget there is also Iran Asseman Airlines flying the B722 in Iran - I know it flies into DXB regularly.

Does anyone know the routes, besides Kish-THR (is this a scheduled flight or a charter?), on which Saha still operates its 707 aircraft?

After searching THR-DXB, I had the option of a T20 flight. Woohoo. Big grin
