I've been looking and searching all over, and I can't seem to find any way of obtaining information related to charter flights for bowl games. Is there any way to search all planned traffic coming into and going out of a specific airport for as far away as two or three days? The specific one I'm looking for is the return flight of Nebraska from the Alamo Bowl, which is supposedly a Northwest 744. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'd like to make sure to be out there when they come back. Thanks.

-Fred

Pretty much all the charters have left...or come back home for the bowls that were played. USC doesn't have a charter this year, though. That much i can tell you for sure!  duck   bigthumbsup

we flew a 777 EWR-PHX for Rutgers last week, it will be in PHX tomorrow roughly from 10am-1pm to bring them back.

A 764 will be in AUS tomorrow on its way to LAX to bring the Longhors to their lone defeat this season!!!

LOL. They're not gunna lose (better scoring offense and a better defense), but do you know what time it'll be here in AUS??

Actually, thinking about it, I'm interested in that one, too, given that I'll be down there from the 2nd to the 5th.

Well, the Horns are going out to Pasadena tomorrow, and I would expect they'll either come back late on the 5th or the 6th.

Looks like Fresno State went out this morning on a SunCountry 738. According to the Austin Statesman Newspaper, no players will be on the charter as they are already in Los Angeles. The charter is for the big spenders at UT. There is a NCAA rule that the players in lieu of taking the charter can accept the cost of a full fare ticket and per-diem. Most of the players take this option as they come out ahead $$ wise.

I'm sure my beloved Gators will be taking the bus down to Tampa from Gainesville. Has the LSU plane gotten out of the mud yet or are they still mired in it like their offense against UGA? Speaking of UGA, they'll be taking the bus into Atlanta from Athens for the Sugar Bowl.

Miami Air also flew the Boston College Eagles on Christmas Eve Day to play Boise State in the MPC Computers Bowl. I believe they will fly out after the game today. It should end at 5:45pm MST or so.
They had at least 3 flights with 738s. I can't imagine many BC fans coming here for this game.

I think the Iowa Hawkeyes flew on Miami Air out of CID to TPA for the Outback Bowl late last week. As for the fan charters, looks like a couple left CID today for PIE and a number of them will be leaving tomorrow and Saturday for TPA and PIE.

It looks like both teams are leaving out of NZY after the game. Oregon on a Delta 738 and a NWA 744 is making its way there now from LNK (from taking the Huskers home?) and I would think this is the one back to OKC.

Where I am keeping on eye on SHV where the Independence Bowl is kicking off this afternoon I have seen the following

COU-SHV (for the Missouri/Mizzou fans)
Champion Air 727

CAE-SHV (for the South Carolina fans)
Pan Am 727
Airtran 73G

To bad I'm afraid Spurrier is going to whoop the Tigers. Even Pinkel admitted on the coach's show this week that Steve will out coach him. Out Pinkel, in with Barnett... Smile (sorry to go non-av there for a minute)
